When & how to get to Khao Yai National Park:

Best Time to Visit:01-Nov to 29-Feb Getting There:By Car: From Bangkok, Khao Yai is less than hours by car. From Phahonyothin Road the quickest way [160 km] is to turn ring at Rangsit Junction into Highway 305 [Rangsit to Nakhon Nayok]. Before arriving at Pranchinburi, switch left to Highway 33 at Naresuan Junction. Turn left on Highway 3077 which leads northwards another 41 km to the park headquarters. By Bus: From Bangkok, Buses leave the Northern Bus Terminal (Mo Chit) for Pak Chong and Nakhon Ratchasima about every half-hour. From Pak Chong and Nakhon take songtaew [pick up truck with two benches] to the park headquarters. It is also possible to take bus from Mo Chit to Naresuan Junction, and then take songtaew from there to the park headquarters. Nearest Town: Pho Ngam Nearest Airport:Prachin Buri Nearest Railway Station:Pak Chong

Accommodation:There are quite number of bungalows for rent here, most of which cater for huge parties, but there are few for people at 800 baht per night.
