Best Time to Visit:01-Dec to 31-Mar Getting There:The nearest towns to Mt Aspiring National Park are Queenstown, Wanaka and Te Anau. Bus services from these main centres run regularly, and State Highway 6 also crosses the northern end of the park. Nearest Town: Wanaka Nearest Airport:Wanaka Nearest Railway Station:Dunedin
Accommodation:Within the park there are numerous backcountry huts and three New Zealand Alpine Club huts. The Routeburn Track is a Great Walk and requires bookings during the summer season. There are established camping areas on many tracks. In the towns around the park a full range of accommodation options are available, from serviced campgrounds to luxury lodges.
