Best Time to Visit:01-Apr to 31-Oct Getting There:Kutai National Park is one of the easy accessible parks on Kalimantan. You reach it from Bontang, industry city north of Samarinda. To get to Bontang take bus from Lempake station or take boat from Seberang station, both in Samarinda. Steven says:Good for Orangutang spotting, lots of butterflies and mushrooms. Good guide but speaks no English. Facility primitive but clean. Unfortunately lots of GSM calls during night to one of the guides.
